I enjoy teaching because it is a great way to learn about different professions, meet different types of people, plus I can use my business skills. I have also been able to learn about German culture from my clients' perspectives. I really love the German way of life and the people.

I have experience as a Banking Administrator, an Editorial Assistant, and as an Event Coordinator.

After getting my CELTA in Vancouver, I was offered a position to teach Financial English to Banking students in Berlin. Soon after that I was hired by GLS and suddenly my one year teaching abroad has turned into almost six and counting...

Wo in Berlin trifft man Sie oft?

Savignyplatz & Kantstraße restaurants and ice cream shops. I live in Charlottenburg and a client of mine had taken me on a tour of different parts of the district for each of her lessons to practise her English speaking skills. It's a great area and my friends and I love trying out new restaurants, walking in the parks, and exploring the shops.

Wo würden Sie gern für 1 Jahr leben?

Norway or Switzerland. They have mountains and plenty of places to kayak or swim. Norway is the closest to Canadian landscape that I have travelled too and it has that European mentality which I love: Live life and enjoy it.
