Evening & Intensive English Courses (also Educational Leave)
Learn English in small groups with experienced native-speaking instructors from Canada, England, and the USA. GLS Berlin is an official test center for TOEFL and Cambridge English – perfect if you need an official English certificate. Our English evening and intensive courses start every month and offer practical, communicative lessons that help you speak more confidently, quickly.

English Evening Course
- Duration: 8 weeks, every Tuesday, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
- Scope: 20 teaching units (45 minutes each)
- Start: Every first Tuesday of the month (all levels welcome)
- Location: GLS Campus Berlin or online via Zoom
- Group size: 5–14 participants
- Placement: Online placement test (written & oral)

English Conversation Course

- Start: Every first Thursday of the month (levels B1 and above)
- Group size: 5–14 participants
- Placement: Online placement test (written & oral)

TOEFL, Cambridge English - prep courses & exams
The GLS language school is an examination center for the TOEFL test and Cambridge English certificates in Berlin. You can take all exams at GLS and, if you wish, also a preparatory course:
Englisch Abitur - preparation course
The course contents are based on the requirements of the Education Ministers in Berlin and Brandenburg for the Zentralabitur: a) Basic Course and b) Advanced Course

Berlin College: English Summer Camp for Teens (16 - 18)
From 05 July – 02 August 2026, the bilingual summer camp "Berlin College" will take place on the GLS Campus Berlin – with German and English courses for students from over 50 countries!
You can book the summer camp in three options:
- English course only – every afternoon from Monday to Friday
- Daycamp – English course plus exciting activities & half board
- Daycamp plus accommodation – everything together directly on the GLS Campus Berlin
