GLS Berlin has received the Star School Germany award as "best German language school in Germany" 5 times (more). Evening courses are available for general German as well as for TestDaF preparation, the German language test for university studies. Afternoon course
20 lessons of 45 minutes in 4 weeks (2 afternoons per week). You can prolong anytime.

TestDaF, telc German - prep courses and exams
The GLS language school is a Berlin testing center for TestDaF and telc German - preparation is available for all German language certificates: TestDaF, telc German and Goethe certificates
German for Teens (Ages 16 - 18)
Every summer, GLS organizes the Berlin College Summer Camp with German courses and activities for teenagers from all over the world.
Most of the students live at the college, but if you already have accommodation in Berlin, you can also just take part in the German course and activities.
The Daycamp takes place from 22 JUN - 17 AUG 2025, you can participate as long as you want, 1 week, 2 or even 3 ....

The above prices apply to general language lessons. For specialized one-to-one lessons and individual exam preparation courses, we charge an additional 5 euros per lesson (10 euros for the special field of law).
Private mini-group - for you & friends
Private mini-group = a language course to which you can bring up to 5 friends or colleagues. Course contents and times are freely selectable. Minimum booking: 10 lessons *a 45 minutes.

In cooperation with IH International House Worldwide GLS Berlin offers teacher training courses for professionals undertaking to teach German as a second language. The courses last 4 weeks and result in a certificate documenting the qualification to teach DaF i.e. German as a foreign language.
