Evening & Daytime courses
GLS Berlin has received the Star School Germany award as "best German language school in Germany" 5 times (more). Evening courses are available for general German as well as for TestDaF preparation, the German language test for university studies. German Evening Course
- Duration: 4 weeks, every Tuesday & Thursday, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
- Scope: 20 teaching units (45 minutes each)
- Start: Every first Tuesday of the month (all levels welcome)
- Location: GLS Campus Berlin or online via Zoom
- Group size: 5–14 participants
- Placement: Online placement test (written & oral)

Intensive German Courses
20 or 30 lessons per week (45 minutes each)
- Morning course: 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Full-day course: until 2:45 p.m.
- Start: every Monday, all language levels welcome
- Group size: 8–15 participants
TestDaF, telc German - prep courses and exams
The GLS language school is a Berlin testing center for TestDaF and telc German - preparation is available for all German language certificates: TestDaF, telc German and Goethe certificates
German for Teens (16–18 years) – Berlin College
Every summer, the GLS Language School hosts the Berlin College Summer Camp: German courses combined with fun activities for teenagers from around the world.
The summer camp runs from June 21 – August 16, 2026, and you can choose to book:
- German course only
- German course plus activities & excursions
- Everything including the course, activities, excursions, and accommodation at the College
- Flexible duration: 1 week, 2 weeks, or 3 weeks

In cooperation with IH International House Worldwide GLS Berlin offers teacher training courses for professionals undertaking to teach German as a second language. The courses last 4 weeks and result in a certificate documenting the qualification to teach DaF i.e. German as a foreign language.
